Alastair Hall on studioKAP and Michael Spens on Kengo Kuma

Many of our staff have made the move from an undergraduate degree in Belfast to complete their studies at the Mackintosh School in Glasgow (the Mac) and our practice has benefited hugely from the rigorous and very practical education they have received there. So, given Rod Kemsley and Chris Platt's connection with Glasgow through both their practice (as studioKAP) and their teaching (Platt is Professor and current Head of the Mac), I was very pleased to have the opportunity to review this book. I was also interested to discover how another practice had chosen to present itself - a question currently not far from our own thoughts.
