Much like English food, English decoration is making a bit of a comeback these days, and Ben Pentreath is partly to thank—not just because he's finessed the young Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's Kensington Palace flat. That being said, the classical architect, whose feather-in-cap is his master-planning work at Poundbury, the Prince of Wales's New Urbanist development in Dorset, doesn't worship at the humble-elegance shrine of John Fowler when it comes to furnishing a room (okay, maybe a little).
