Super-infrastructure explores and tries to overcome the kern problem of a too broad use of territory working on the extra-large scale of the architectural standard object. Pathology The main problems, found in Bolzano as well as in many other current productive settlements, can be summarised as follows: 1. Widespread settlement fragmentation due to small-size parcel allotments and consequent space dispersion. 2. Too cumbersome vertical connections compared to plane surfaces, and the consequent dissipation of usable volume. 3. An inadequate number of parking areas in relation to the number of companies per allotment. 4. Widespread type-morphological unhomogeneity and the consequent 'Disneyland effect'. 5. Functional and logistic incompatibility in the same productive reality.
