摘要

The future is conventionally regarded as the bright light at the end of a tunnel. Untarnished and unfettered by the past and the present, it is populated by a better society, with increasingly ingenious gadgets and technologies all accommodated in shiny new buildings; as that well-known advertising adage goes: 'The Future is Orange'.
