HYPERHABITAT REPROGRAMMING THE WORLD

In a world of global connectivity, we are hooked up in an information superhighway. We are all networked. But what does this mean in terms of the spaces of our everyday lives, our habitats? How are these spaces programmed within a globalised system?rnHyperhabitat: Reprogramming the World, an installation directed by Vicente Guallart for Venice Biennale in 2008, posited the need to reprogramme the structures with which we inhabit the world through the introduction of distributed intelligence in the nodes, networks and environments with which we construct buildings, cities and territories.
