In doing so, they extend one of the key narratives that makes Modern architecture modern, but their pursuit of material transformability may also be key to understanding how architecture may unfold into something else that suggests interrelated, double or triple transformations of materials and ideas. The origins of the above concept lie not in a Spanish thought but in Germanic concepts and language.
