Oh, Olivia! If only we had your energy and ability to disseminate our values with speed via the universal appeal of popular culture. Architects are familiar with the problems that face society today in relation to the built and natural environment. Climate change, land clearance, sprawl, density, declining resources, housing affordability, peak oil, loss of diversity energy and water shortage etc etc etc. Architects are overwhelmingly positive about the possibility for changing our urban conditions, yet appear to be disconnected from mainstream political debate. Our message is simple -get political.
