The Member Services Committee continued to advance the interests of members in 2011 with the promotion of A+ membership. During the 2011 State of Design Festival, the committee created Mapping the 'Burbs as an attempt to explore and reveal architectural sites of interest on a bicycle. The bicycle tours responded to the festivals theme of 'mobile and networked'with an event designed to engage with the community in a fun active way. The committee celebrated architecture with the World Architecture Day party. This was a joint event with PROCESS at Loop on 3 October 2011. Guest speakers brought an international flavour to the night.
