The Art Gallery of Ballarat Annex, in homage to Mies Van Der Rohe, exemplifies a masterful use of steel and glass. The floating roof creates an interactive gallery space for events at the rear of the historic building and establishes the Annexe as a confident and contemporary participant in the Alfred Deakin Plaza cultural precinct.
