Successfully used to secure points under BASIX (The Building Sustainability Index) in New South Wales, as well as making a significant contribution to a 6 star energy rating under the equivalent scheme in Victoria, Markilux awnings can achieve up to 95 per cent reduction in solar thermal energy radiation whilst reducing reliance on air conditioning by up to 75 per cent in summer.
