A procedure for automated measurements and calculation of the SC parameters with IBM PC computers, V7-21A digital meters, and a program-controlled potentiometer is described. The automatically operated and technical means of the automated stand provide the following: programming assignment of the load resistance over the range 0.002-800 ohm with a discreteness of 0.003 ohm; measurements of I_(s.c.) to 4 A, V_(o.c.); direct and reverse dark and light current-voltage characteristics; calculation of I_(opt), V_(opt), R_(n opt), P_(opt), P_(max), FF = P_(opt)/P_(max), coefficient A, series R and shunt R_(sh) resistances with graphic mapping of the current-voltage characteristics and SC parameters on a monitor and printer. Error of the automated measurements and calculation of the SC parameters is not above 0.01%.
