Solar Plants and Their Application: Determination of Solar Power Plant Efficiency

摘要

To determine the efficiency of solar power plants generating useful energy in electrical or mechanical form, it was suggested that the specific energy of total solar radiation incident on the plant front light-receiving surface be used rather than its flux density. On this basis, a relevant correction to the expression for the actual efficiency of solar Plants of considered type was recommended.
