In the preceding Comment, Majumdar1 finds one of the steps in the derivation of the tunneling current in graphene nanoribbons (GNRs) in an earlier work2 to be incorrect, though leading to correct final results. We agree with the analysis and suggest readers of our work append it (especially the paragraph containing Eqs. (3) and (4)) with the new clear derivation by Majumdar. We thank Majumdar for clarifying an important point that will become relevant for tunneling structures that are variants of what was considered in our original paper.
