摘要

Consistency of Bodner-Patrom's model with thermodynamics of medium with internal variables has been investigated. Different forms of free energy and internal variables evolution equations are studied. Restrictions on model parameters due to dissipative nonequality are determined. Partitioning of the total plastic work between stored energy and energy dissipated as heat is investigated. The comparison of responses of the constitutive models with experimental results is performed. Partial Cases of steady and cyclic deformations are considered.
