Numerical determination of frequencies and discontinuous forms of free oscillations of a thick long shell regulary strengthened by the circular ribs

The problem, describing free oscillations of the element of a long thick cylindrical cover, regularly strengthened by circular ribs of rigidity has been constructed. Computational schemes are elaborated for the new eigenvalue problem with discontinuous proper forms by the method of finite elements. The accuracy of these schemes does not yield to that of analogous schemes, known for the problems of elasticity theory with smooth proper forms.
