摘要

We are submitting this erratum in response to comments on our paper [1] received from readers. Unfortunately, some typographical mistakes were left out in our manuscript. Moreover, some important aspects of experiments were either not mentioned or not properly highlighted by us in the results and discussion section that has caused misinterpretation of our results. This paper was the initial study of rice straw based ABE fermentation in our group that showed feasibility of such a process even under un-optimized conditions of medium components as well as fermentation parameters. We give below our response to the comments received from readers: The trend of acidogenesis followed by solventogenesis is evident from the trend of pH of the fermentation broth. The pH trend of the fermentation broth shows a "butter fly shift" after an initial decrease and further increase. Fig. 1 provided in this erratum shows Fig. 4 of original paper [1] with an expanded y-axis, which clearly shows these trends. There are also some further explanations about the pH of the fermentation broth, which have been given later.
