Localization of a Discharge in Transmission Line Networks using Time Reversal with TLM

摘要

The location of an electrical discharge in atransmission line network is found from its recordedtransient response by means of a time reversal simulation.The accuracy of the localization procedure depends onhow closely the simulator models the wave properties ofthe network that must be linear, reciprocal, and virtuallyloss-free. TLM simulations are presented.
