Xcel Brands is not your typical apparel company; it's not your typical media company; and it's not your typical licensing company. When it was launched in 2011, founder and president Bob D'Loren had a vision to reimagine shopping, entertainment and social as one entity. The result is a brand de-velopment and media compa-ny engaged in the design, production, licensing, marketing and direct-to-consumer sales of branded apparel, footwear, accessories, jewelry, home goods and other consumer products, and in the acquisition of dynamic consumer lifestyle brands.
