NAUTIS, which stands for Naval Autonomous Information System, is an integrated naval command and control system based on the original Marconi Underwater Systems Naval Autonomous Intelligent Console (NAUTIC). The system comes in several variants, each slightly tailored for different warships and missions. NAUTIS utilizes distributed processing with a replicated system database in each workstation, updated via an international-standard databus or command system highway. The system is constantly being upgraded to higher capabilities. Overall, the NAUTIS series is expected to have a lucrative spares and maintenance market, as well as some small order production runs, throughout the forecast period and beyond.
