In [1], the authors presented an equivalent two-port network for the balanced antenna, as shown in Figure 1. For such a two-port network, the S matrix was given by S prime equal square brackets with a particular multivaried matrix structure (1) The antenna''s impedance can be expressed as Z equal two Z zero S prime eleven all over 1 minus S prime eleven (2) or Z equal two Z zero multiplies with one minus S prime twelve all over S prime twelve (3) where S′11 and S′12 are the S parameters of the equivalent two-port network, and Z0 is the characteristic impedance. The antenna''s impedance can be calculated by using Equation (2) or (3).
