Advancing the Mission

For 12 years, you've been reading the wise words of Jack Hoffbuhr regarding the state of the association as well as various issues facing the water industry. My discourses may not demonstrate the same sagacity, but let me assure you that we share a commitment to advancing AWWA's mission. I am thrilled to be AWWA's new executive director and to be a part of the water community. You're probably a bit curious about me and what my background is, so let me tell you a little bit about myself. Born in Chicago, I've lived most of my adult life in Colorado and Texas. I was educated at the University of Colorado at Boulder (BA, political science) and at the University of Denver (MBA).
