Aqua-Chem Inc. has been awarded a contract for the supply and installation of a 300,000-gpd (1,136 m3/day) seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant by the Turks and Cai-cos Islands government in the British West Indies. The plant is expected to be operational in the first quarter of 2013. This will be the fourth SWRO plant provided by Aqua-Chem, Inc., to the Turks and Caicos Islands government.
