摘要

Ceramic membranes are receiving attention for their structural, chemical, and thermal stability. In this study, the performance of a hybrid coagulation-ceramic membrane filtration system was assessed for removing organics, inorganics, and disinfection by-product precursors for two surface source waters with low specific ultraviolet values. The results indicate that a coagulation pretreatment stage under optimal conditions reduced the rate of membrane fouling and improved the rejection of organics.
