Home Depot and Glidden Paints Donate Time, Money to Renovate AMVETS Post 44

Christmas came early last October for AMVETS Post 44 in Struthers, Ohio, when the post became the recipient of a $10,000 donation through the Home Depot Foundations Celebration of Service. Partner vendor, Glidden Paints, added 100 gallons of paint and 80 volunteers to assist the AMVETS members who all gathered together to renovate and refurbish Post 44 and its career center. Pavestone, a landscaping company, donated block for the retaining wall and also lent a hand through volunteers to completely renovate the entire front of the AMVETS post, which was formerly a church that was closed five years ago.
