We love a good conspiracy theory and wonder if one reason Cat and Yamaha are working together is to stand united against Ski-Doo. It's no secret that Ski-Doo has been the #1 sled maker for several years now, and recently Ski-Doo brought a lawsuit against Cat regarding their Procross chassis for its pyramidal frame construction. What better way for two other OEMs to combat Ski-Doo's dominance than by partner- ing up (even on just one sled). It shows solidarity by Yamaha for Cat and that Cat thinks Yamaha has fantastic 4-strokes.
