Arctic Cat sees 17% increase in North America

Minneapolis, Minn. - North American retail sales rose 17%, with overall sales hitting $238.5 million for the second quarter of 2014, this was fueled mostly by strong snowmobile and side-by-side sales. For the first six months of its 2014 fiscal year sales were $359.3 million vs. $340.3 million a year earlier. Earnings for the first six months, ending Sept. 30, rose 7% to a record $28.8 million from $27 million at the same time last year. Earnings for the second quarter of 2013 were $23.4 million compared with $25 million in the same quarter last year.
