WASHINGTON-A coalition of 22 states and seven local governments are suing the Environmental Protection Agency over its Affordable Clean Energy (ACE) rule, which the Trump administration unveiled in early July to replace the Obama administration's Clean Power Plan (CPP). The lawsuit, which was filed in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit on Aug. 13, follows litigation that a pair of U.S. health organizations filed against ACE shortly after it was published (AOGR, Aug. 2019, pg. 18).
