It's hard to look on the bright side of life after listening to Professor James Lovelock speaking on the subject of climate change. "Measures can buy us time but will not save us," he declared. Humans have survived huge climate change several times previously. All it is going to take this time around, he said, is for much of the human population to relocate to the Arctic and for China to move its people to its empty neighbour Siberia.
