HSE gets closer to industry

The Health and Safety Executive has forged closer links with manufacturing companies, tying up two deals aimed at reducing accidents within the sector. HSE has signed what it calls a "partnership agreement" with the manufacturers' organisation EEF. The deal, the first of its kind between the HSE and another organisation, aims to ensure that manufacturing companies get the best possible access to health and safety advice and information.
