摘要

This paper presents a morphological and phenological study of the spores of the fern species of a preserved cerrado are, the Reserva Biologica e Estacao Experimental de Moji Guacu (Sao Paulo State), Brazil. Of the 40 fern species found in the Reserve, 9 occur in the cerrado, 35 in the gallery forest that surrounds the cerrado, and four species are common to both. Twenty- two species have monolete spores and 18 trilete spores. Spore rain was collected monthly at four localities: open cerrado, cerrado, gallery forest, and marsh.
