Takagi's latest and most powerful tankless water heater, the T-M50, uses two heavy-duty heat exchangers to produce up to 380,000 Btu per hour, making it the most powerful tankless water heater in the industry, the company says. The dual system helps ensure that if one exchanger breaks down, the other continues to operate without interruption, avoiding emergency situations and downtime. The new exchangers are also constructed of a technologically advanced copper, making the units more resilient against erosion and leaks, Takagi says.
