摘要

As jet engines were conceived, designed, and refined, jet fuels also were researched and monitored to ensure their acceptable performance in aircraft systems. Due to the sheer volumes used and the immediacy of their consumption, jet fuel analyses need to provide users with the maximum amount of fuel product information in the shortest time possible. Currently, jet fuel analyses rely on standardized methods which are highly repeatable and in some cases field-portable. NMR can yield reproducible spectra that can provide greatly detailed compositional analysis in minutes, however, there is only limited information relating spectral analysis to fuel parameter predictions and quality assessment. This effort will present attempts to correlate NMR spectral information to fuel properties using chemometrics.
