The use of high-quality ceramic media in new, high-energy mills can significantly improve quality, productivity and mill maintenance costs. Many industries are faced with the competitive need to develop increasingly finer dispersions having narrower particle-size distributions. Ceramics, print and inkjet inks, and automotive OEM finishes are specific examples. In ceramic slurry dispersions for microelectronic applications, particle-size requirements continue to get finer and finer. This is true for products such as barium titanate or glass frit.
