Ornament hangers: 1 Before starting on the cupcake design, make the hangers for the ornaments so they have time to dry and harden. Using the 1/16" hole dye for the extruder, pipe out several inches of yellow and gray gumpaste and cut into 1" sections. Glue ends together with water or gum glue to form loops. Set aside to dry at least 24 hours or until hard.
