The goal when opening the bakeshop was to create sumptuous and opulent cuisine, while at the same time being down-to-earth, unpretentious and just plain fun. John and Dawn wanted Patisserie 46 to become a warm and welcoming spot for people in the neighborhood to actively connect-or reconnect-with family, friends, neighbors and themselves, and that's precisely what they've created. ACD recently sat down with John to talk about running a successful business and what he learned in the process.
