1. Add a thin base layer of buttercream to your cake and smooth. 2. Use a ruler to mark straight lines to help guide you while working. 3. Using a small heart cutter, indent the wafer paper with the shape and then cut out the hearts. 4. Place each heart in between the lines at the top of your cake. Place so that the bottom half of the heart is adhered to the buttercream and the top half is above the top edge of the cake. 5. Using the same heart cutter, gently imprint the heart pattern down the cake.
