We live in a very interesting and exciting time as cake artists. Wedding-cake commissions are much different from what they were just a few years ago. Texture, fine details, and distinctive designs are becoming more and more popular with cake decorating being recognized as an art form, and cake artists being sought after to create cakes as individual as the couples who book them.
