Governance and Corruption Constraints in the Middle East: Overcoming the Business Ethics Glass Ceiling

Despite the proliferation of corporate governance and business ethics best practices in the last few decades and the push to implement those guidelines in SMEs and family businesses in MENA, there is much additional work to be done. The first step is to recognize the barriers-such as the business ethics glass ceiling-to implementing these best practices so as to promote organizational growth and development.
