In a recent paper, Giust et al.n1nshowed how the elements ofnthe 2u00062 scattering matrix of a one-dimensional system com-nposed of two subsystems can be expressed in terms of thenscattering amplitudes of the individual subsystems to gener-nalize Einstein’s composition law of velocities.
