Kassim Athumani Ally Kulindwa is a senior research fellow and lecturer in economics at the Economic Research Bureau, University of Dar es Salaam. Micheni Ntiba studied at the University of Nairobi where he graduated with a BSc in botany and zoology in 1984, and a MSc in hydrobiology in 1987. He proceeded to the University of East Anglia, United Kingdom, to study for a PhD in fisheries science and graduated in 1990. He then taught marine and fisheries science in the Department of Zoology, University of Nairobi where he currently an associate professor of zoology. Shem O. Wandiga is professor of chemistry at the Department of Chemistry, University of Nairobi. His research interests lie in studying sources and sinks of biogenic gases;
