NATIONAL DIVERSITY TASK FORCE SETS MICROSOFT PRESENTATION

The CPR National Task Force on Diversity in ADR had a meeting scheduled for October's first week that was slated to feature a presentation by Microsoft's top litigator. Richard J. Wallis, associate general counsel for litigation at Redmond, Wash.'s Microsoft Corp., was scheduled to make an Oct. 2 lunch presentation to the task force at the CPR Institute's New York office on the software giant's law firm diversity program. Wallis's presentation was to be held the same day as Microsoft, and its general counsel, Brad Smith, were to be presented with CPR's Corporate Leadership Award at a New York black-tie dinner.
