NEW YORK PRACTICE LEADER MARGARET SHAW RECEIVES SIXTH JAMES F. HENRY AWARD

At CPR's 2013 Annual Meeting in San Diego, the CPR Institute presented veteran conflict resolution neutral, trainer, teacher, and author Margaret Shaw with the James E Henry Award for outstanding achievement in the field. Shaw's work personifies the bridge between practice and theory-"a bridge between neutrals, academics, practitioners and the judiciary;" said Kathleen M. Scanlon, special counsel to the CPR Institute, in her presentation to Shaw at the dinner. Shaw is a neutral in JAMS' New York office, which she joined when the firm she co-founded merged with the Irvine, Calif.-based ADR provider a decade ago.
