Long recitations of pre-takeoff checklists have blocked frequencies on every continent when new first officers didn't know which button to press. They are normally followed by ribald prompting from the avionic audience. Calls made on the wrong frequency have provided hours of innocent fun for easily amused pilots, worldwide.
