eXaminer SX Receives EU Approval

The examiner SX explosives detection system (EDS) from L-3 Security & Detection Systems has passed the EU Commission Regulation Standard 3 under the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC) Common Evaluation Process (CEP) of Security Equipment. L-3 President Thomas M Ripp has expressed his delight at the news, adding that the SX now joins the eXaminer XLB in its achievement. "The reduced-size eXaminer SX delivers the best value in certified CT threat detection with continuous-flow detection, excellent in-line throughput and robust 3-D imaging capabilities," he said.
