NASA’s Aeronautics program budget would be significantly increased over the next five years under the Aeronautics Innovation Act (S. 2977), which was introduced by Sens. Jerry Moran (R-KS) and MarkWarner (D-VA) on May 24. “In order for the U.S. to boost its competitive edge in aeronautics, Congress must enact policies that invest in long-term research and development,” said Sen.
