摘要

As part of a quest to make flying easier for customers, Alaska Airlines has started using fingerprint scanners to allow entry to its four Board Room airport lounges. However, Alaska's customer research and development team envisions a day when customers will use biometrics at every point in their airport journey - from curb to airplane seat, without the need for boarding pass, ID or credit card. "We're looking for ways to get rid of waiting; customers do not find value in waiting," said Sandy Stelling, managing director for customer research and development.
