PARIS AEROPORT TRIALS CHINESE APP FOR ARRIVING PASSENGERS

Paris Aeroport has linked up with Chinese Internet company Tencent through the application Weixin to access a range of services such as flight information, airport and tourist services. An initial trial, carried out in Parisian airports to mark the Chinese New Year, allowed Paris Aeroport to welcome Chinese travellers and wish them a happy new year on Weixin as soon as they arrived at Paris-Charles de Gaulle airport. Paris Aeroport also provided dedicated and exclusive services and offers for these customers. The trial was carried out in conjunction with Havas Media.
