Record Passengers at Dubai

With A total of 32.6 million passengers handled in the first half of 2013 - with 5.5 million in June alone - Dubai International Airport has broken all previous records. Overall traffic is expected to exceed 65.4 million in 2013. The average monthly passenger figure recorded in the first six months of the year stood at 5.44 million compared to 4.65 million during the corresponding period in 2012. Aircraft movements in June amounted to 30,191, up 10.1% from 2012, while freight increased by 10.2% to 1,196,894 tonnes.
