Sunrise airways, the new Haitian start-up airline based in Port-au Prince, launched daily scheduled passenger services between Cap Haitian and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands on August 26. The route marks the first international link for the carrier and is an important step in the company's efforts to establish a hub in Haiti to better serve the Western Caribbean. Connecting rotations are also available from Port-au-Prince, with two morning departures from the Haitian capital, feeding the northbound flight from Cap Haietien to Providenciales, it also offers two afternoon departures from Cap Haitien to Port-au-Prince for added convenience. Sunrise Airways will deploy a 19-seat Jetstream 32 EP on the new route.
