A leading international aviation consultancy based in London has warned that the industry must continue to change if it is to survive the current economic crisis. In its quarterly newsletter Viewpoint, released in February, Ascend Worldwide predicted that the aviation business "should come out of the current predicament in good shape", but warns that it will "not be easy, and the path is not yet clear". The firm's Director of Consultancy, Eddy Pieniazek, said airlines, airports, manufacturers, lessors and suppliers must "continue to adapt and change" if they were not to suffer at the hands of one of the biggest economic crises to hit the global market.
